1. How long do sessions typically last?

I charge by the session not by the hour, I believe hypnosis is not something to be rushed, the sessions typically last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Client scheduling is adjusted accordingly. Day and evening appointments, Monday through Friday are available.

2. What if I am not able to be hypnotized?

It is widely accepted and known that it takes a person with a reasonable amount of intelligence to be hypnotized.

3. What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is often compared to the relaxed mental state between wakefulness and deep sleep, known as the alpha state. Each normal night of rest, as you fall asleep and wake up, you move through the alpha state.  It often surprises people to think they have already been in the “hypnotic state” or the alpha state each day of their lives.  During our first meeting together a complete introduction to hypnosis will be explained and demonstrated, then we will decide together if we can work together toward change.

4. How does hypnosis work?

Guided meditation is the best short answer to this question. To explain a bit farther, The change desired by you is always discussed prior to the guided meditation session.  Once you have relaxed and entered the alpha state, the change that you desire is verbalized during hypnosis by myself, your unconscious mind receives and accepts the change.

5. Why does Hypnosis work?

There is empirical evidence that hypnosis does work, why it works is still under investigation and the answers vary tremendously between expert opinions. I have 30 plus years of personal experience with self hypnosis and I am glad to share my experiences with success and personal changes in depth if you are interested in a consultation. Evidence from our clients, their testimonials, is the best indicator of a good hypnosis coach.

6. How fast does Hypnosis work?
Truly, I know people want to hear hypnosis makes an instant change, and often it does.   Some clients are quick to understand or already know the “path” or the “skill of meditation”.  I am a coach and a guide to hypnosis – helping you achieve the changes you want in your life.   Important keys to how fast hypnosis works include the rapport we have together, your ability to relax, your desire to succeed, your belief in the process, and your ability to focus on the changes you believe you deserve in your life.  What do you want to achieve?

The first introductory session is $75.00 to learn about my practical approach to hypnosis. Together we will to look into what you want to accomplish and/or change. Usually the first consultation can last up to 1 hour and 45 minutes. We will learn from each other. We will see how well we connect and we will explore what you want to accomplish. That first visit will include a short hypnosis session essentially to introduce you to the path of hypnosis and the practical approach I use for implementing change.
